Charming cottage, like something you would see in the pages of Country Living Magazine. Rolling Kentucky bluegrass vistas from every window. Comfy beds tucked in cozy lofts gives the feel of a grown up tree house (with well provisioned kitchen and 2.5 bathrooms). Miracle of miracles our preteen boys actually ditched the electronics for afternoons whittling on the porch, coaxing the alpacas in the neighboring field, and exploring. Owners very easy to work with! They emailed us a handy introductory booklet to the area before we arrived so we knew all the hot spots to hike, antique, craft, and eat. Great place to get away from it all!
My cousin and I rented this cabin for 10 days at the beginning of June. The weather was gorgeous and the cabin was perfect. Waking up every day to the sight of the mountains through the clear glass panes in the loft was both calming and revitalizing. The modern conveniences of Wifi, flat screen, spacious living areas coupled with old world charm and antiques made it perfect. Highly recommended.
This cabin is awesome!
If you stay here you will find a beautiful cabin that is a refreshing mix of rustic and modern. The kitchen as well as the rest of the house is thoughtfully stocked with everything that you will need for a pleasant stay. We had a lot of fun exploring the town of Berea, Kentucky as well. Communication with the owners was a breeze. I highly recommend this place. We would definitely like to return! Here is some information that you might find helpful. There are 4 separate bedrooms in the cabin. Bedroom 1- King bed in a loft overlooking living room #1. Bedroom 2- One set of twin bunk beds plus one twin bed. This room has a door to Bedroom 1 at one end and the reading nook at the other end. Bedroom 3- two twin beds in an "L" configuration. The door leads to the reading nook Bedroom 4- Queen bed in a loft overlooking living room #2. The door leads to the reading nook As the hosts have said, there are two stairways leading to the second floor which is where the bedrooms are. The stairways are steep and narrow, they reminded me of attic stairways.

Great anniversary getaway
We loved the rustic cabin with beautiful views and cows out the back door! It was a great place to relax and unplug especially the big soaker tub! Everything was very clean and comfortable. Beautiful Hiking trials and downtown Berea attractions were just a short drive away. A huge bonus is the house is dog friendly! We would definitely recommend this little secluded gem to anyone and everyone!

Fantastic Cabin made for a GREAT getaway!
We rented this cabin because our daughter is about to attend a college in the area and we wanted her (and some of her friends) to become acquainted with the surroundings. We had a great three days exploring the beautiful towns of Berea and Richmond. We did everything from exploring Natural Bridge to shopping in downtown Berea and the cabin is easily accessible to everything. We also had a great time just playing board games in the cabin at night. The cabin was clean, beautifully decorated, and the beds were especially comfy! Plenty of sleeping room for myself and 7 older teens! Thanks to the owners for sharing their home with us!

Charming weekend getaway with women friends
I just stayed here for a weekend getaway with friends. It was such a quaint, charming, clean and comfortable place to stay. It had many windows that allowed us to see the beautiful mountain view from many places in the home. I definitely plan to return in the spring, summer or fall and enjoy all the hiking and outdoor adventures in the area.
